Case overview

Every figure is computed from the exposure events and defendant links, so it stays current as the case is edited.

Exposure timeline

Each bar is one exposure event as the deponent dated it. Click a bar to see what it supports.

Defendant matrix

One row per defendant, assembled from linked exposure events. Click a row to open its evidence record.

Exposure events

Enter each exposure once and link it to every defendant it supports. Edits here flow to every linked record.

Evidence graph

Deponent → exposure events → defendants. Search anything — a product, brand, site, defendant, year or trade — and the matching nodes light up with the transcript pages and documents that say so. Click a node to isolate its path; Relate finds everything connected to it.

Select a node.

Contradiction and discovery alerts

Rules run over the graph on every edit. Contradiction: the record disagrees with itself. Discovery: something the case needs that is not in the record yet. Link: a defendant named in testimony but not linked to it. Quality: housekeeping on the work product (over-cap summaries, import corrections). Hover any type for the full definition; severity is red (critical), amber (warning) or grey (note).

IGL evidence receipts

Every assertion in the graph carries a receipt: who made it, from which transcript source, under which purpose, and a hash chained to the receipt before it. Proposed means machine-extracted and unreviewed; attested means a person checked it against the transcript.

Import depositions

Drop a matter folder, or select any number of files. Transcript PDFs are read for exposure testimony and drafted into cited events; summary workbooks are normalized into the matrix. Everything lands in one review, and nothing changes in the case until you accept it.

Drop a whole folder here — subfolders included — or single transcripts (.pdf, .docx, .txt, scanned images) and summary workbooks (.xlsx)
Workbooks are read first, then transcripts, so cites match the captioned defendants. Scanned PDFs and images are read with OCR in this browser (a few seconds a page). Every file in the folder is listed; anything TortPlus cannot read is marked, not silently dropped.
Rule-based drafting is always on. Claude drafting lights up when the viewer allows it.

Drafted from the evidence graph of this case; every cite must be verified against the transcript before filing or service.

Reporting

Choose the deliverable. Every figure, table and cite is computed from the live evidence graph; the narrative sections are drafted by Claude from that same graph when the viewer allows it, and are labeled so they can be reviewed before use.
